Installation location: Behind the driver's cabin bed, the fixed area behind the B-pillar, non-rotatable fixed side window; divided into left and right symmetrical two pieces, with mirror images of the same model for distinction, and cannot be mixed.
Core function
To supplement the rear lighting of the driver's cabin, reduce the blind zone of the rear view when reversing or changing lanes;
Seal the rear side panel of the driver's cabin, isolate rain, dust, high-speed wind noise, and prevent water leakage into the bed compartment;
Dark brown color for heat insulation and sun protection, reduce the temperature rise of the driver's cabin during long-distance driving, and reduce the load on the air conditioning;
Enhance the privacy inside the cabin, making it impossible for the outside to clearly observe the bed area.

a. The main production materials for automotive glass include: automotive float glass, PVB (polyvinyl butyral) film, silver paste, ink, and auxiliary materials include: tongue pieces, bases, supports, and edge bands. Our company uses first-class automotive float glass, mainly purchasing first-class white and green sheets from domestic manufacturers such as Shanghai Yaping, Shennan Glass, and Dalian Float Glass. Our PVB film mainly uses PVB films from Japan's Kishio Company and the United States' DuPont Company. Silver paste and ink are imported from South Korea, the United States' DuPont, and Japan, and auxiliary materials are sourced globally.

b. Production process: Automotive glass mainly has the following two major production processes.

1) Ensure that the driver's visual distortion is minimized and they are less likely to become fatigued.
When cutting the blanks, pay attention to the direction of the glass's lamination to ensure that both pieces of glass have the vertical lamination direction.
2) Since the two surfaces of float glass are different, during the production process, one surface comes into contact with the tin bath, and the other surface comes into contact with ammonia gas. We usually refer to this as the tin surface and the air surface. The adhesion between the air surface of the glass and PVB is stronger than that between the tin surface and PVB. Therefore, during production, the air surface of the outer sheet faces inward, and the air surface of the inner sheet faces outward for assembly. This ensures that both air surfaces come into contact with PVB.
Cutting: Since laminated bent glass is formed by bending the inner and outer layers of glass together, the inner sheet of the glass is generally shorter than the outer sheet in length. How much shorter depends on the curvature of the glass and the size of the spherical surface. Whether it is CNC cutting or template cutting, it is necessary to distinguish the size of the glass pieces and assemble them correctly before entering the bending baking process.
