1. Installed on the top of the heavy truck diesel fuel tank, immersed in the diesel; it continuously measures the height of the diesel liquid level in the tank and converts it into an electrical signal which is transmitted to the vehicle's instrument panel.
2. The instrument displays the amount of fuel (fuel gauge) based on the signal. When the low fuel level is detected, an alarm for insufficient fuel is triggered.
3. Some versions integrate oil-water monitoring, which detects water accumulation at the bottom of the fuel tank and prompts the release of water.
4. Fault phenomena: The fuel gauge does not move, the fuel gauge fluctuates suddenly, and the low fuel level alarm is falsely triggered. Most of these are caused by damage to the sensor.
