The transmission pressure sensor plays a crucial role in monitoring the absolute pressure in the intake manifold based on the engine load. This sensor can convert the monitored pressure data into electrical signals and rotational speed signals, and then transmit these critical information to the vehicle's computer system. Based on the transmitted information, the car computer can precisely determine the amount of fuel injection.

When it comes to the working principle of the transmission pressure sensor, the core lies in detecting the intake manifold pressure behind the throttle. The sensor precisely captures the changes in manifold pressure based on the engine's speed and current load. These changes are then converted into signals and sent to the engine control unit. Once the ECU receives these signals, it can adjust the fuel injection volume accordingly. In actual operation, as the throttle opening decreases, the vacuum in the intake manifold increases, which leads to a decrease in the absolute pressure value in the manifold and a reduction in the output voltage of the sensor. Conversely, when the throttle opening increases, the vacuum in the intake pipe decreases, the absolute pressure in the manifold increases, and thus the signal pressure output by the sensor rises.
