Both the front and rear nitrogen oxides sensors have five pins. They are: two wires for CAN communication, one power wire, one grounding wire, and one wire responsible for the up-down switch (or address selection switch). These sensors transmit information to the ECU through the CAN bus, where CANH and CANL represent the positive and negative poles of the communication wire.
