The function of the clutch release bearing is to, when the driver depresses the clutch pedal, press against the diaphragm spring on the clutch pressure plate to achieve the separation of the clutch plates, ensuring smooth engagement and gentle disengagement of the clutch, reducing wear and extending the lifespan of related components. Specifically, when the pedal is depressed, it enables the pressure plate, which bears the spring force, to move, completing the separation action. Moreover, since the release lever rotates with the pressure plate, the operating mechanism cannot rotate, and it can reduce the friction and wear between the two. Thus, it ensures the good operation of the clutch and the transmission system.
The clutch release lever rotates together with the pressure plate, but the operating mechanism that is linked to the clutch pedal cannot rotate. Under such a complex difference in motion conditions, the existence of the separation bearing as a thrust bearing is extremely necessary. It can effectively reduce the friction and wear between the two, ensuring the smooth operation of the entire system. Imagine if there were no such a bearing to coordinate these different motion methods, the friction between the components would increase sharply, not only causing abnormal noise and vibration, but also significantly shortening the service life of the related components.
The overall structure consists of three main parts:
Cast iron sliding seat
Cast gray iron HT250 is cast as one piece, with positioning shift fork ears on both sides, and the inner wall is finely ground to high precision. It is suitable for the reciprocating sliding of the first shaft spline sleeve of the transmission, with excellent shock resistance and low risk of cracking or deformation.
Push-rod rolling bearing body
High carbon chromium bearing steel, double raceway structure, with high-temperature resistant lubricating grease inside; the outer ring is equipped with a ring-shaped dust-proof oil seal and a wave-shaped elastic compensation spring, which automatically compensates for the wear gap of the clutch pressure plate, reducing shifting jolts.
Sealing and buffering component
Multi-layer rubber dust-proof ring + wave-shaped spring, isolating mud, water, and transmission oil contamination, preventing the loss of internal grease in the bearing.
