The working principle of the oil pressure sensor is to sense the changes in oil pressure through the internal pressure-sensitive element and convert these changes into electrical signals for output.

After voltage amplification and current amplification, the amplified pressure signal is connected to the oil pressure indicator through the signal line. The two coils inside the indicator change the current passing through them in a random manner in response to the changes in oil pressure, thereby indicating the magnitude of the engine oil pressure. At the same time, the amplified pressure signal is also compared with the alarm voltage set in the alarm circuit. When it is lower than the alarm voltage, the alarm circuit outputs an alarm signal and lights up the alarm lamp through the alarm line to alert the driver.

The oil pressure sensor is installed on the main oil passage of the engine. When the engine is running, the pressure measuring device detects the pressure of the engine oil.

The oil pressure gauge is an instrument that indicates the oil pressure of the engine's lubrication system. It works by generating a pulse current due to the deformation of the bimetallic strip, which drives the oil pressure gauge to operate.
