The windshield wiper motor is the power core component of the car's wiper system. It drives the turbine worm gear reduction mechanism through an internal permanent magnet motor, converting the rotational motion of the armature into the reciprocating swing of the wiper arm to achieve the wiper function. This device adopts a three-electrode brush structure to regulate the current intensity, and realizes variable speed control of low speed, high speed and intermittent gears by changing the number of series coils. Its mechanical structure includes a gear reducer, a four-bar linkage mechanism and a reset device. The output shaft is driven by a shift fork and is controlled by a spring reset mechanism to ensure the precise swing trajectory of the wiper arm.
The main components include:
Electromagnetic drive unit: The stator permanent magnets generate a fixed magnetic field, and the rotor windings are energized through the brush frame to form a rotating magnetic field.
Deceleration transmission module: The worm drives the copper-based powder metallurgy worm gear to achieve a reduction ratio of 18:1 to 35:1, and the output shaft is connected to the crank through a conical serrated connection.
Motion conversion mechanism: The output arm drives the four-bar linkage system, and the swing rod ratio is 1:3 to 1:5 to ensure the effective stroke of the scraping arm.
Reset device: The copper ring contacts and reset switch are included. When in the closed position, it automatically returns to the lower edge of the windshield.
Wound type: A magnetic field is generated by the excitation winding, and the magnetic field strength can be adjusted.
Permanent magnet type: Uses neodymium iron boron permanent magnets, which account for the majority of the market share.

Dynamic torque test: Rotational speed stability under a standard load of 0.6 - 3.5 N·m
Insulation withstand voltage test: 500V/1mA insulation resistance test
Armature balance degree: The dynamic balance quantity is ≤ 15g·mm
