Material
High-alloy centrifugal cast gray cast iron, with internal nitriding treatment + precise honing of cross-grain patterns, enhancing wear resistance and oil storage capacity; it is a wet cylinder liner, with the outer wall directly in contact with the coolant water of the antifreeze.
The lower part has two water-blocking ring (O-ring) sealing grooves; the corresponding sealing ring part number is 3696801. The sealing ring must be replaced simultaneously; otherwise, there will be leakage and oil-water mixture.
Function
1. Together with the piston, piston ring and cylinder head, they form the combustion chamber, which withstands high combustion temperatures, explosive pressure and the reciprocating friction and thrust force of the piston.
2. The outer wall is immersed in the coolant, quickly dissipating the heat of the cylinder and controlling the working temperature of the engine.
3. The design is for easy replacement. When the cylinder liner is worn or corroded, it can be directly replaced with a new liner, without the need to replace the expensive engine cylinder block.
