When starting at low speed, the shift lever pusher moves the sliding sleeve towards the 1st gear side. The sliding sleeve then presses the 1st gear copper synchronous ring tightly.
The conical surface of the synchronous ring rubs against the 1st gear, quickly balancing the speed difference between the main shaft and the gear.
After achieving synchronous speed, the sliding sleeve engages the teeth of the 1st gear smoothly, completing the power connection of the 1st gear.
When shifting to the 2nd gear, the lever pushes the sliding sleeve in the opposite direction. Similarly, the 2nd gear synchronous engagement is completed.
When in neutral, the sliding sleeve is centered and does not engage any gears, thus cutting off the power supply.
