However, for Fatastar and ZF 12:16 speed transmission boxes, the jamming of the teeth occurs on the 5:11 gear teeth. Any gear is not affected because this tooth is the one that transmits power to the secondary shaft. The driving teeth and reduction teeth on the secondary box usually rarely have problems because they are located in the middle and lower part of the transmission, while the left side of the welded teeth of Fatastar is positioned higher, and the gear oil is difficult to reach. Most of the time, it is this tooth that causes the jamming.
The main reasons for the gear teeth of the transmission to wear out are as follows:
One reason is improper operation. For instance, if the vehicle is not fully stopped before shifting into reverse gear, or if the clutch is not fully depressed when changing gears, it will cause teeth to come off.
The second issue is that the clutch does not disengage completely. This can be observed from the moment of starting. If there is a problem with the clutch, it is likely to cause teeth to be worn.
The third issue is that the vehicle speed and gear selection do not match. If the gear is changed to a lower one before the speed has been reduced, it is prone to cause teeth-rubbing.
