Compared to generic parts, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts offer the advantage of precise fit. Generic parts, on the other hand, may have gaps between the bracket and the engine or chassis due to specification deviations, which can easily lead to metal fatigue or rubber aging over time. Furthermore, OEM parts undergo stricter safety certifications, requiring compliance with standards such as crash tests and durability tests. Applications of OEM parts include accident repairs, replacement of worn-out parts, and performance upgrades. For example, after a vehicle collision, the body panels need to be replaced with those of the original vehicle specifications to restore the appearance and structural strength; if the vehicle has been used for a long time, rubber parts such as engine mounts and chassis bushings are prone to aging and need to be replaced regularly to avoid abnormal noises or vibrations; for models that need to improve load-bearing capacity, reinforced chassis skid plates or drive shaft brackets can be selected, but it is necessary to ensure that the new parts are compatible with the original vehicle power system to avoid damage to components due to excessive torque.
